Etude "Early Spring" by A. K. Savrasov

Among the works of Russian and modern art, stored in Sergiev Posad State Historical and Art Museum-Reserve, there is a small sketch by A. K. Savrasov "Early Spring", made in oil.Для экспонирования на выставках его надо было отреставрировать. The restoration was carried out by the restorer of tempera and oil painting of the museum P. V. Ostrovsky (hegumen Dorofey). He strengthened the edges of the cardboard, removed the surface contamination, led the restoration soil in places of loss, tinted, varnished and fixed on a new stretcher. Now this wonderful picture will decorate any exhibition.
