How to get to museum

from Yaroslavsky Station, “Sergiev Posad” stop (it will take about an hour and a half).

from "VDNKH "Metro station from Moscow to Sergiev Posad. The bus departs every 15 minutes.

70 km from Moscow along the the Yaroslavsky Highway (M8 highway), which leads to the main street of the Sergiv Posad - Krasnoy Armii avenue .The parking places are to the right of the prospect not far from the Monastery walls.  

From the railway or bus station you can go by a bus (or a minivan) to the stop "Center. White Pond" (the main building of the Museum next to the stop) or walk along Sergievskaya ul. (street) to the observation platform on the Blinnaya gora ( mountain) and admire a magnificent view of the Trinity-St. Sergius Lavra. Then, a ten minutes walk along the prospect Krasnoy Armii will lead you to the Museum.
